Emmanuel Vedoya
Born in Winnipeg, MB in March of 1987 to Leticia and Noel Vedoya, Emmanuel Vedoya was raised in the Adventist church in Winnipeg and attended the Adventist school, Red River Valley Junior Academy. He also attended Camp Whitesand for a few years before becoming a staff member at 13.
During the following 15 years of being on staff, Emmanuel decided to find a way to continue working at camps; he found himself at Burman University. At Burman he transitioned his course of studies from Psychology to Theology and graduated from Burman University with a Bachelor’s in Adventure-Based Youth Leadership. Afterward, he found his first job working for a non-profit organization in Calgary and has been seeking out practical ways to do ‘ministry.’
Emmanuel enjoys the outdoors: hikes, fires, and rock-climbing during Summer and he enjoys skating and snowboarding during the winter. He’s passionate about music, practical ministry, and nerding out about the Bible.
